Back to base systems

  • Monitored by 24hour security stations with direct communication with patrolling security guards and police.
  • Allows for personal panic and medical alarms as well as general burglary

Wireless

  • No need for cable; eg, garages separated from the house, where cables can be run, no roof access, apartments, units

Hard wired

  • ie, running cable, 99% of installations are hardwired because of accessibility, easy roof and ceiling access

Movement sensors:

  • Picks up changes in temperature as well as movement; ie, body movement causes changes in body temperature.
  • Dual Tech sensors used to prevent false alarms, ie, allows for movement caused by wind, and insects.
  • Pet sensors: distinguishes between humans and pets; hence, allowing for pets to move freely in the house

Back to base Systems

  • A monitored alarm system's built-in telephone dialler will report all system events (fire, burglary and medical emergency) over your existing telephone line to a security monitoring station where a security expert can dispatch immediate assistance.

Remote Arming Buttons

  • Remote arming buttons can be used to help those who have trouble remembering codes or who find using personal operating code numbers confusing.
